On 8 February 2008, a suicide bomber drove his vehicle into a returning convoy at our compound at Camp Vulcan in Ghazni, Afghanistan. I suffered a mild traumatic brain injury from the blast. I have undergone countless treatments for my injuries yet my chronic headaches persist. I have been prescribed narcotic type medications with no relief. It wasn’t until November 18, 2008, when ACUPUNCTURE was introduced into my life that I finally received relief! I began a regiment of acupuncture two times a week along with proper medication to maintain a functional life with limitations. Lady Melody listens to me as a patient and treats my needs and pains. She never leaves my pain issues unresolved while we are in session and she will “chase” my headaches, as the pain often shifts during treatment, until they are resolved. As a U.S Army Officer of 23 years, Lady Melody has earned my trust and confidence both personally and professionally. She has my full endorsement. Without hesitation, acupuncture has saved my life!
